Feet Placement
Using fascia training and strengthening exercises, we explore precise foot placement to built,
stability, mobility and a clear connection to the floor. The main topics are walking, standing leg
placement, and the articulation of the standing leg’s foot
Pelvis Placement
We focus on posture and pelvic organization, supported by Pilates principles, to improve
alignment, balance, and efficient movement. Finally, we apply what we have learned by
working with a small tango combination that includes side steps, crosses, and embellishments.
Upper Body Placement
We refine upper body organization and the embrace, using Pilates-based exercises to create
clarity, support, and a comfortable, responsive connection. The focus is on the placement of
the ribcage as well as the activation and strengthening of the back and arms.
Core & Breathing
We train core activation and breathing coordination with yoga and Pilates tools. By using the
power of the center, we develop support and stability while keeping fluidity, and ease in our
movements, for example in volcadas.
Dissociation
We deepen our understanding of dissociation through stretching, yoga, and Pilates exercises,
which increase mobility, control, and precision. We focus on pivots, ochos, giros, and activating
the right muscles when dissociating.
Foot Work & Decorations
Our focus is on detailed footwork and embellishments. Targeted strengthening exercises
improve agility, articulation, and the beauty of movement. We primarily focus on the free leg
and its foot, examining its placement to ensure natural, free, and beautiful movement.
Leg Work:
We analyze the range of possible leg movements, observing the hip joint's anatomy and
functionality. Through Pilates and stretching exercises, we improve our agility and enhance
our mobility for leg movements such as boleos and ganchos. Our goal is to dance with fluidity,
stability, and power.
Full Body Awareness
We start by learning the basics of classical dance, to then move on to a guided routine that
integrates the whole body. This routine is inspired by ballet and enhances coordination,
control, strength, and global awareness. The goal is to build a more conscious and organized
tango. Music: Cafe Dominguez by Tango Bardo

After so many years dancing Tango and wasting money taking group classes everywhere and every time I had the chance, I discovered Tangomeet and took all the clases with Mr Sebastian Arce and the beautiful Mariana and no regrets. It has been the best thing I had ever done for my studies of tango. It is such a well thought program that will do for you miracles in the way you dance Tango
