Turns are difficult, and this is why it is important to have a good transition movement to help leaders and followers understand how to still keep leading in the turn, and also what the underlying geometries are. In this video Ivan and Sara show the preparation for turns in both the parallel and the cross systems. 

Turns around a common center are like walking on the dough of the donut. Yes, we actually say that in this video… Why? Because it is a good image, and when we add sacadas, we really begin to understand the relationships the couple requires for smooth and powerful turns. 

Fundamental and extremely important technique that will prepare you for more complex movements such as enrosques, agujas, lapises! If you want to execute any of the above mentioned movements with ease, study this video with care!

Single axis turns around the follower are a great opportunity for followers to showcase their adornments. However, these turns can be uncomfortable if leaders and followers both lack proper technique. In this video Sara and Ivan show you the correct body positions and geometries to make beautiful turns!
